Vinicius Jr carded for physical reaction to Celta Vigo player after Champions League throat grab
Vinicius Jr. is making news once more. The Real Madrid player was once again punished for his outbursts on the pitch of play. He has recently struggled to control his temper.
The Brazilian was given a yellow card for reacting violently as his shirt was pulled. As Vinicius raced from the halfway line towards the goal, Óscar Mingueza hauled him back. Until Vini brought him down, the Celta player clung onto the back of his shirt.
Vini also received a card for his response, even though Mingueza was given a yellow for his acts. Rising to his feet, the winger lunged at the man from Celta and forced him to the ground as well.
Not so long ago, the Brazilian made headlines as well for touching a player. Vinicius got into trouble when he put his hands around Willi Orban’s throat, as reported by GOAL. The event took place during
Madrid vs. RB Leipzig’s UEFA Champions League match. To make matters worse, Vinicius scored a goal shortly after getting away with it, which advanced Madrid to the next round. Benjamin Henrichs was among the Leipzig players who found the situation upsetting.
