
Sonnie Badu's ‘Rhythms of Africa’ concert videos excites Ghanaians, gives stunning performance
Sonnie Badu announced his presence in Ghana. Saturday, December 9, 2023, saw the lively sounds of the “Rhythms of Africa” gospel performance fill the Grand Arena (AICC) in Accra. The event, which celebrated the beauty and power of gospel music, brought together a diverse mix of A-list musicians and was curated by the renowned Ghanaian gospel musician Sonnie Badu, who is based in the UK, in partnership with George Quaye’s Image Bureau.
Several well-known performers were scheduled to perform, including MOG Music, Piesie Esther, Joe Mettle, Nacee, Perez Musik, FRA from Ghana, and Neon Adejo and Preye Odede from Nigeria.
A consoling minister turned out to be a suitable solution to make up for the program’s delayed start in the tense environment.

Following his performance, the atmosphere was perfect as the audience kept growing and some even stood up owing to the large turnout. Now and again, musical acts were halted to honor some of the greatest gospel performers, such as Diana Hopeson, Mary Ghansah, and Rev.

Throughout his performance, he and his excellent band displayed their flawless synergy, displaying their top-notch musicianship and precise synchronization. Every song had the customers singing and dancing along, clearly enthralling. It was a memorable evening that showcased Sonnie Badu’s unquestionable talent and stage presence.
