
Ronaldo breaks all time goal scorer record in Saudi Pro League, wins golden boot
Ronaldo keeps breaking records. The Portuguese player won the scoring championship in the Saudi Pro League on Monday night, May 27th, 2024, adding another Golden Boot to his collection. After the Al-Nassr star created history in the Middle East, admirers praised him on social media.
After Ronaldo became the first player to win the Golden Boot in four separate leagues, they dubbed him the best of all time. Ronaldo broke the Saudi League record for the most goals scored in a single season to the acclaim of confident supporters.
According to ESPN, he scored 35 goals to surpass Abderrazak Hamdallah’s previous record. In the 2018–19 season, the Moroccan forward scored 34 goals for Al-Nassr. The 39-year-old needed two goals against Al-Ittihad to establish the new record.
Ronaldo tweeted on X, formerly Twitter, saying: “I don’t follow records; he does follow me.” This statement has since garnered reactions on social media, as his fans react massively to it and applaud him for his talent and hard work in his football career.
