Kwame A Plus challenge the NPP to disqualify him in the upcoming elections
Kwame A Plus, a politician and entertainment commentator, has stated that the NPP will not be able to stop him from running in the 2024 parliamentary elections. In a widely shared video on the internet, the once-loyal NPP member dared the party, if they thought they had the authority to do so, to disqualify him from running as an independent candidate in the next parliamentary elections.
Speaking to some locals in his electorate of Gomoa Central, A Plus asserted that he is unconcerned about these accusations because they are untrue. He contended that the NPP would lose the constituency’s parliamentary elections if they successfully disqualified him.
“I’ve heard rumours that the NPP may try to disqualify me from running in the 2024 elections during the nomination filing process. Are they the ones to complete and submit my forms? I’m asking you. They cannot disqualify me. I am throwing a challenge at them because it is never possible. If they do that, how would their MP win the elections,” A Plus said in a video shared by Accra-based UTV.”
According to 3News, Kwame A Pluss stated that if the NPP is serious about breaking the eight, it should start developing projects in the Gomoa Central constituency. “Gomoa Central belongs to us and nobody else; what we say is what will work. There are about 250+ votes in the constituency. If NPP is serious about breaking the eight, it should start doing something here,” Kwame A Plus added.
