
Kennedy Agyapong Jnr: My father made me pay my school fees, shares more details
Kennedy Agyapong Jnr, the son of Ghanaian politician and businessman Honorable Kennedy Agyapong, revealed in a recent interview that his father refused to pay his school fees at a point in his educational journey. The entrepreneur and CEO Of Afrofuture revealed that his parents raised him as an entrepreneur.
Speaking in an interview with Konnected Minds Podcast, Kennedy Agyapong Jr. revealed that he decided to partake in entertainment activities during his college days in the United States. He indicated that he had used funds from his siblings’ school fees to book artists for on-campus shows.
With this information, he got to his father, Honourable Kennedy Agyapong, and demanded that Kennedy Agyapong Jr pay his school fees. As a result, he took loans that coveted his college and graduate school fees. The Afrofuture CEO shared that the discipline and financial literacy gained at an early age set him up on the path of entrepreneurship and valuing money.
He added that this experience and guidance from his father have earned him priceless experience and expertise in many fields, which has aided him in establishing his companies and earned him a place in the Ghanaian entertainment industry.
He added that he has been a victim of several financial losses. However, he has come to understand the challenges of losing as an entrepreneur and advises that people take on roles that will equip them with the knowledge required to run their businesses.
