Hopeson Adorye reveals people are interested in the ruin of his marriage with Gifty Osei
Hopeson Adorye honoured his wife in a birthday tribute to Ghanaian gospel artist Empress Gifty. In a social media post, the Ghanaian politician disclosed that a significant number of individuals were hoping to see his marriage to Empress Gifty fail. But he promised the gospel singer he would always be there for her.
Mr. Hopeson Adorye called his wife “the best woman” in his message, referring to her as “the woman I cherished over everybody on this planet earth.”
“I respect you, I have faith in you, but most of all, I love you. Some people want us to get divorced, but since they cannot determine our fate, they are not God. Obaa papabi, I love you, wai,” he continued.
As he celebrated her birthday, he said, “Happy birthday. Make the most of your day.… Sε εyε wo deε a, bεfa kͻ.”
On Friday, December 28, 2018, Hopeson Adorye and Empress Gifty got married in a private ceremony in Tema, Greater Accra Region. This occurred following Hopeson’s widower status and Gifty’s divorce in 2017.
Empress Gifty disclosed on a Facebook Live stream from the previous year that she met her spouse at a funeral in Osino, Eastern Region, and that they were married a month later.
