Occupyjulorbihouse protesters arrested by Ghana police
Numerous protesters who flooded Accra’s streets on September 21, 2023 to take part in the #OccupyJulorBiHouse action have been detained by police.
Demonstrations commemorating Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, Ghana’s first president, are being arranged by Democracy Hub, a civil society organisation with offices in Accra.
The president and the members of the Economic Management Team are being urged by protesters to #FixTheCountry.
The extent of economic mismanagement and theft, according to demonstrators, must be addressed since it has affected the Akufo-Addo administration at all levels.
