
Arsenal travelled to defeat Burnley by 5 goals to stay two points below Liverpool
Arsenal needed a win to stay two points below Liverpool on the League Table. A loss for the Gunners would threaten their expectation for the title race. Arsenal won their previous four games; Burnley drew two and lost two in the last four games. While Arsenal seeks for the title race, Burnley strives to move away from the relegation zone.

In the forty-first minute, Bukayo Saka scored a penalty kick resulting from Assignon’s foul in the thirty-ninth minute. The first half ended with the Gunner’s lead. In the forty-seventh minute, Saka capitalised on Ødegaard’s assist to make their lead three.
In the sixty-sixth minute, Leandro Trossard extended the Gunners’ lead by four. In the seventy-fifth minute, Jakub Kiwior assisted Kai Havertz in making Arsenal’s lead by five. Arsenal defeated Burnley by five goals, keeping them two points below Liverpool, and the Gunners play Newcastle while Burnley faces Crystal Palace on 24 February.
