Amaechi Muonagor, veteran Nigerian begs for support as his body paralyses
Amaechi Muonagor, a seasoned Nigerian actor is creating quite a stir on social media After revealing his terrible health. The movie actress was seen bedridden in a hospital and calling on Nigerians for assistance in a number of videos that have been going viral on the internet. The movie actor said in the video footage that he had a stroke that left his left side disabled.
Not content to stop there, Amaechi Muonagor described how the illness struck him as he was leaving a film set and ready to get into his car.
The 61-year-old actor claims that he spent almost seven months working on the film set alongside several of his coworkers, including Emeka Ani, Rita Edochie, Ebele Okaro, and Patience Ozokwo. The stroke occurred as he was ready to get into his car, and it has been getting worse ever since.
The actor clarified that his left side was paralysed and that he was unable to move or walk on his own. Muonagor also expressed regret to the public for keeping his predicament a secret for so long, saying he had no idea it would endure this long.
Amaechi then appealed to his large fan base and Nigerians for assistance. He claimed he had run out of money to pay for prescription drugs and hospital beds and that’s why he needed help.
Amaechi Muonagor covered his body on the hospital bed with a wrapper in the video, revealing his bandaged leg. The actor claims that he is in desperate need of assistance.
Amechi stated that after being sent to a hospital in Nnewi, he spent two months there before being transferred to the teaching hospital, where he has been for the past three months.
