Akrobeto reveals divorcing his wife after a heavy slap from her landed him on the floor
Akrobeto has detailed how his marriage ended. Prominent Ghanaian actor Akwasi Boadi, better known by his stage name Akrobeto, recently opened up about the breakdown of his marriage in a lighthearted yet intimate way. Akrobeto claims that his marriage ended due to a severe incident in which his wife slapped him, causing him to tumble.
He claimed that the slap was so forceful that it caused him to collapse. The comedic actor claimed he went to notify both families for the marriage to be annulled in order to prevent a worse scenario in the future.
As closely followed by Anamonpa Media, the veteran actor was greeting Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and his spouse Samira on their 20th wedding anniversary at the time of this, Akrobeto, who was astounded by the Bawumias’ progress, mentioned that he had assumed they had been married for about 10 years.
“In 2006, my wife and I were wed. It wasn’t until my wife smacked me and I fell that I decided to get a divorce. On Accra-based UTV, Akrobeto jokingly recalled, “I am afraid of marriage now.” He said.
“The vice president, Bawumia, and his spouse had been wed for two decades. They’ve done incredibly well, fantastic. As you can see, they are young and happily married, which is a good thing. Do you really believe Bawumia does not abuse his wife? Do you believe Samira doesn’t irritate her spouse?”
“Please remember that understanding is the foundation of a marriage—we are all fallible. I assumed it had been ten years since their marriage,” he laughed. Akrobeto asked.
